Queen Budapest

Queen Budapest marks the 40th anniversary of the first Western stadium rock concert behind the Iron Curtain – and at the same time Queen's last filmed live performance with Freddie Mercury. The concert was recorded on July 27, 1986, at Népstadion in Budapest during The Magic Tour. Queen made history as the first Western rock band to play a stadium concert behind the Iron Curtain during a time marked by major cultural and political changes. All 80,000 tickets were snapped up, while an additional approximately 45,000 fans followed the concert outside the stadium.
