Michel Legrand - Legrand Jazz (RSD 2026)

In 1958, the French composer and arranger Michel Legrand was already a star in his homeland. To record his dream album, he traveled to the USA and assembled the biggest stars of jazz: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Phil Woods, Bill Evans, Ben Webster, Art Farmer, Donald Byrd, and many more. The album "Legrand Jazz" presented jazz classics in breathtaking Legrand arrangements, played by the crème de la crème of jazz. For Record Store Day, the album is being re-released as a remastered 140g pressing in the iconic original cover, complete with a session photo featuring Miles Davis and John Coltrane and an essay by Legrand.
